Rosemary Arundale, 95, of Havana, passed away at Mason District Hospital in Havana at 5:25 a.m. on Sunday, January 14, 2018. She was born December 11, 1922 in Brown County to George and Emma (Barrett) Siltman. She married Karl B. Arundale on March 20, 1943 and he preceded her in death on February 12, 2002. Mrs. Arundale is survived by three daughters: Sheryl (Jerry) Payne, of Havana, Linda (Ron) Howerter of Havana, Carla (Larry) Miller of Easton; two sons: Gregory (Lisa) Arundale of Marion, Iowa, Richard (Jen) Arundale of Leonard, Michigan; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sons, Terry and John Arundale as well as ten brothers and sisters. Mrs. Arundale was a member of 1st Baptist Church in Havana where she had been a Sunday School Teacher and had served on several committees. She worked at the drive in theater in Havana and then for the Historic Preservation at the State of Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m., at 1st Baptist Church in Havana, with visitation one hour prior to the services. Rev. Daniel Swihart will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to 1st Baptist Church. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
