Bernice E. “Bea” Coil

Bernice E. “Bea” Coil, 77, of Petersburg passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024 at Select Specialty Hospital in Pensacola, Florida. She was born November 27, 1947 in Canton to Clinton and Mildred (Lane) Kolves. She married David A. Coil and he survives. Also surviving are Bernice’s children, Danny (Denise) Adkins and Brenda Adkins; grandchildren, Luke Craddock, Ben Craddock, Jennifer (Connor) Tillman, and Kaitlin Adkins; great-grandchildren, Beau, Charlotte, and Aleah; and brother, Dwight (Lisa) Kolves. She was preceded in death by her parents. Bernice was a retired hairstylist who had many clients she worked with for years. She enjoyed quilting, camping, traveling south for the winter, riding in her golf cart, and especially spending time with her friends and family. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 13 at 11:00 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Pastor Gary Sheets will officiate. Burial will follow the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made in Bernice’s name to the American Cancer Society.
