Elizabeth F. Grim
Elizabeth F. Grim, 69, of Mason City passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Springfield Memorial Hospital. She was born on May 1, 1954 in Springfield to Paul and Ida (Fairow) Jockisch, Sr. On February 9, 1973 in Easton she married Steven Grim Sr., he survives. Beth is survived by her husband, 2 sons: Steven (Becky) Grim Jr. of Astoria and David (Amanda) Grim of Mason City, 4 grandchildren: Dustin (Bethany) Grim of DeKalb, Madison (Mike) Anders of Springfield, David P. Grim of Astoria and Bradyn Grim of Mason City and a great-grandson Oliver Grim of DeKalb, 3 siblings: Paul (Debbie) Jockisch Jr., of Havana, Mary (David) Sellman of Athens and Jane (Tom) Lewis of Springfield and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents. Beth was a graduate of Easton High School and worked for many years before retiring from Havana National Bank. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City burial to follow at Easton Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m, also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Manito Baptist Church (PO Box 620, Manito, IL 61546).
