Kent Breedlove

Kent Breedlove, 62, of Manito passed away in rural Havana on Tuesday, February 20, 2024, at 4:55 p.m. He was born on April 11, 1961 in Pekin to Jackie and Loida Breedlove. Kent is survived by his mother, Loida Breedlove; brother, John (Carol) Breedlove of Manito; nieces and nephews, Larae Schimmelpfennig, Jenny (Jeffrey) Hackman, Courtney Breedlove, Joey (Rachel) Dolaz, and Jordan Breedlove; and 5 great nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Jackie Breedlove. Kent graduated from Forman High School in 1979 in Manito. He enjoyed and had a passion for farming his whole life. He also worked at FL Smith and Sloane Implement. He was a member of Forest City Church. He was an avid sports fan and loved the Las Vegas Raiders, Chicago Cubs, and stock car racing. A visitation will be held Friday, February 23rd, from 5-7 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Manito. A private family funeral service will be held Saturday, February 24th.
