Bruce Jason Clark
Bruce Jason Clark, 58, of Bath, passed away at his home at 8:44 p.m., on Thursday, September 14, 2023. He was born September 16, 1964, in Springfield to Denzil and Norma (Kramer) Clark. He married Cathy Taylor Brooks, on January 6, 1990, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana. She survives. Mr. Clark is survived by his mother, Norma, of Manito; wife, Cathy, of Bath; three sons: Jake (Shellie) Brooks, of Havana, Lucas Brooks, of Bath, and Justin (Amanda) Clark, of Havana; five grandchildren: Carter, Laney, Jenna, Emma and Liam; as well as one brother: Doug (Florence) Clark, of Forest City; three sisters: Terri (Dirk) Heinhorst, of Manito, Jody (Mark) Pedigo, of Mapleton, and Lisa (Jeff) Bonnett, of Waterloo; as well as nephew, Brandon Clark. He was preceded in death by his father. Mr. Clark was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana. He was a lifelong farmer in the Mason County area. He was a member of Mason Co. Farm Bureau, Ducks Unlimited, Peoria Sportsman’s Club, and VFW Auxiliary. He enjoyed crappie fishing on the Mississippi River and traveling to Key West. Cremation rites have been accorded and visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, in Havana, on Monday, September 18 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to Havana FFA.
