June Lynn Cohee, 65, of Bath passed away Wednesday, December 21 at Mason District Hopsital. She was born in Beardstown on March 23, 1957, the daughter of Robert and Donna Herring Burgett. She married Bill Cohee on December 24, 1980, and he survives. She is also survived by her children: Leha (Anthony) Yackley, of Bath, Tammy Horner, of Springfield, Ginny Showalter, of Bath, Stephen Burgett, of Havana, Rick Mathany, of Havana; brothers: James (AJ) Burgett, of Havana, Bobby Henry (Teri) Burgett, of Cuba; sisters: Chrissy (Dave) Sayers, of Browning, Paula Gilpin, of Bath, Robin Beaird, of Browning, Amy (Buddy) Dobson, of Havana, Becky (Terry) Black, of Liverpool as well as grandchildren: Aaron Mathany, Chase (April) Horner, Mackenzie Horner, Katelynn Burgett, Madison (Zach) Dennis, Cameron Clevenger, Lane Yackley, Kourtney Showalter, Kylee Showalter, Nick Hessand great-grandchildren: Gabrielle Mathany, Daniel Mathany, Lily Lynn Mathany, Savannah Horner, Lance Horner, Miabella Dennis, Maverick Malott and Karter Vice. She was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother: Bert Burgett; brothers: Bobby Arlen Burgett, Randy Burgett, sisters: Cathy Sinclair, Melissa Gorforth, and Brenda Ray. June was a former cook at the Lakewood Supper Club, and a long serving former village trustee for Bath. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and taking care of others. Per June’s wishes, there will be no services. The family will host a celebration of life at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 31 at 105 E. 1st St., Bath, IL.
