Charles “Ed” Edward Redmond

Charles “Ed” Edward Redmond, 82, of Havana passed away on Sunday, January 2 at 12:33 p.m. at Havana Healthcare Center. He was born on August 12, 1939 in Quincy to Charles and Vivian Redmond. He married Karen Redmond in 1964 in Beardstown. Ed is survived by his wife, Karen Redmond, of Havana, children: Kelly Whalen, Brian (Jennifer) Redmond, Stephen (Stephanie) Redmond, and Nick Redmond, grandchildren: Delaney McNeil, Jordan McNeil, Cole Whalen, Tyler Redmond, Hannah Redmond, and Bridget (Cole) Graham, and great-granddaughters, Ameila and Indie Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Marcie Redmond. Ed owned and operated Redmond’s Furniture Store for many years. He served in the U.S. Army Reserves and was a member of the Catholic faith. Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services at this time.
