John Paul Kroesch

John Paul Kroesch, formerly of Havana passed away peacefully December 7 in Pearland, TX. He was 82 years old. John was born on June 17, 1939 in Springfield to Frances Henchen Kroesch and George John Kroesch. He married Sally Kay Brown June 4, 1960 in Havana. They were married for 61 years. He graduated from Milledgeville High School in. After graduating he joined the navy and completed six years of service. He then began his career as a data processing manager and retired many years later after serving school districts, state and city governments in Illinois and Texas. John is survived by his wife Sally; his children David, Daniel, Darren, and Kerri; his grandchildren Kenyon, Logan, John David, William, Nathan, Laurel, Campbell, and Michelle. He also has two great grandchildren Kinley and Kade. John is preceded in death by his mother and father. His oldest son John Paul II died one day after birth. Visitation will be December 22 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at South Park Chapel in Pearland TX. A memorial service will follow the visitation. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to The Wounded Warriors Project.
