Carolyn (Hulvey) Latzke

Carolyn (Hulvey) Latzke (Havana) passed away at her home October 28 with her loving husband and daughter by her side. She was born in McDonough County on January 25, 1946 to Glenn and Betty (Farwell) Hulvey. She was proceeded in death by her parents, two sisters Rose Ann Trivette, Sharon Mustread and one brother Bill Hulvey. Her husband survives Walter J. Latzke they were married June 25,1989. Also surviving one sister Joyce (Gerry) Peacock, her daughter Angelena (Christ) Richardson of Topeka, two step children Linda (John) Varanelli and Bob Latzke, four grandchildren (William and James Deushane, Andrew and Ariel Blodgett) five step grandchildren (Logan and Jordan Richardson, Johnny Varanelli, Daniel Barber and Ashley Schmitz), and 16 great grandchildren (Kenley, Addison, Anna, Jackson, Dawson, Eliza, Harlen, Alivia, Uriah, Stella, Johnathon, Jordan, Brayden, Camren, Colten and Mason). Her favorite pastime was sitting at the table and watching the birds. She loved being a grandma and would do anything in her power to make sure they were taken care of no matter what they needed and no questions asked. She will be missed by so many. Cremation rites have been accorded and no public services are planned at this time. Memorials can be made to Havana Rural Fire. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana is in charge of arrangements.
