Elena Sue Koehne

Elena Sue Koehne, 73, of Kilbourne, passed away at Sunny Acres Home in Petersburg, at 8:17 p.m., on Saturday October 19, 2019. She was born July 12, 1946, in Springfield, Illinois, to Herbert and Rachel (Bell) Fields. She married Orville Eugene Koehne on December 24, 1965, in Petersburg. Mrs. Koehne is survived by her husband, Gene, of Kilbourne; one son, Jeff Koehne of Virginia, Illinois, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her faithful and loving companion, Amy. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Jeanenne Chambers and Judy Spaulding. Mrs. Koehne worked as a Home Health Aide for Cass County Health Department for many years. She enjoyed horseback riding and was a member of Saddle Club. Visitation will be held at Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home in Chandlerville on Thursday, October 24 from 10 until 11 a.m. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, October 24 at Chandlerville Cemetery.
