Sandra Kay “Sandy” Williams

Sandra Kay “Sandy” Williams, 70, of Mason City, passed away at her home on October 4, 2019 at 1:09 p.m.. She was born on January 20, 1949 in Lincoln, the daughter of Alfred and Bessie (Prettyman) Barnes. She married Thomas L. “Tom” Williams on July 8, 1967 at the First Christian Church in Mason City. He survives. Sandra is survived by her daughter, Tracy Williams of Monticello, one brother Lendall (Priscilla) Barnes of Linn Creek, MO, and one sister, Nancy Barnes of Robinson. She was preceded in death by her parents, and one sister, Beverly Irving. Sandra was a member of the Church of Christ in Havana. She loved spending time with her daughter Tracy, and her husband Tom. Sandra enjoyed taking vacations with her family. Her Family meant everything to her. A funeral service will be held for Sandra on Wednesday, October 9 at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City, at 1p.m. A visitation will be held two hours prior to the service from 11 a.m. to 1p.m. Memorials may be made to the Church of Christ in Havana or the Community Chapel in Mason City.
