Bernita M. Nunn

Bernita M. Nunn, 66, of Havana, passed away at her home at 5:33 a.m. on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born April 24, 1952 in Cass County, to Raymond and Blanche (Hobbs) Goben. She married Terry Nunn on April 29, 1978 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, near Kilbourne. He survives. Mrs. Nunn is survived by her husband, Terry, of Havana; three children: Patrick (Tammy) Nunn, of Kilbourne, Darla Blan of Omaha, NE, Heath (Jade) Nunn of Bath; ten grandchildren and four siblings: Shirley (Bob) Morris of Kilbourne, Dorothy Turnell of Pekin, Linda (Pat) Little of Albion and Raymond Goben Jr. of Beardstown. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters: Carol Hall and Laura Huffman. Mrs. Nunn was a member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, near Kilbourne. She enjoyed bowling and Bingo, as well as, spending time with her family. She also liked to travel, many times ending up in Arthur or Hannibal, Missouri. She retired as a Safety Analyst with the State of Illinois Department of Transportation after 37 years. Graveside services will be held at Bethel Cemetery at 11 a.m. on Friday, November 16. Rev.
