Carl Dwayne Phillips

Carl Dwayne Phillips, passed away on September 26, 2017 at 12:20 a.m. in the Havana Health Care Center. Carl was born May 31, 1950 in Canton to Dorothy and Clifton Phillips. Carl graduated from Forman High School, Manito. Carl was a lifelong member of the United Church of Christ in Havana. He lived at home and helped take care of his parents as they aged. He was preceded in death by his parents and an older sister, Linda Phillips. Carl is survived by one brother, Ronald Phillips of Havana and one sister, Glenda Long of Phoenix, AZ. Graveside services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 29, 2017. Rev. Bill Boyce will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to his church or Havana Health Care Center – Resident Activity Fund. Online memorial messages may be left for the family at www.hurleyfh.com.
