Patsy D. Kramer

Patsy D. Kramer, 84, of Bloomington, passed away at 10:35 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at McLean County Nursing Home, Normal.
Her memorial service will be at Noon, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Carmody-Flynn Funeral Home, Bloomington.  Interment will be in Evergreen Memorial Cemetery, Bloomington at a later date.  The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to Noon, Monday at the funeral home.

Pasty was born on October 28, 1931 in Kilbourne, Illinois, the 13th of 14 children born to Leslie Ray and Flossie Charlotte Ade Conklin.  She married Donald Eugene Kramer of Bath, Illinois on December 9, 1949.  
She is survived by her daughter, Christine (Larry) Mertes of Bloomington, grandson, Bradley Mertes of Chicago, one brother, James (Donna) Conklin of Petersburg, and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  
Along with her parents and ex-husband, she was preceded in death by five brothers, Raymond, Lloyd, Homer, Harold and Donald Conklin, and seven sisters, Blanche Wahlfeld, Evelyn Williamson, Winifred Conklin, Nina Robison Patrick, Floye Hughes, Daisy Emmons, and June Emmons.
Patsy graduated as salutatorian of Kilbourne High School.  She served as a Democratic Judge in Mason and McLean County.  She loved to bake and travel, including bus trips with family and friends.  Patsy was a devoted mother and grandmother and loved to spoil her grandson.
