Albert W. Garlisch

Albert W. Garlisch, 73, of Easton, passed away at his home at 3:55 a.m., on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. He was born July 12, 1952, in Springfield, to Carl and Anna K. (Jacobs) Garlisch. He married his wife, Brenda, on April 6, 1991, in Easton. She survives. Mr. Garlisch is survived by his wife, Brenda, of Easton; son, Chad Garlisch, of Havana; daughter, Lindsy (Lonnie) McAnally, of Petersburg; stepdaughters: Amber (Corey) Choate, of Eureka, Missouri, Beka (Justin) Dodson, of Carterville, Kelsey (Adam) Seggerman, of Bloomington; eleven grandchildren; as well as three siblings: Roger Garlisch, of Mason City, Janet (Don) Whiteman, of Pekin, and Karlene (Alan) Grelck, of San Jose. He was preceded in death by his parents, step-son: Nick Phelps, and brother: Eldon Garlisch. Mr. Garlisch was a very social person who enjoyed visiting with his friends and family. He loved farming and mowing his lawn. After high school he attended Muscatine Community College for a year, before returning to the family farm. Graveside services will be held on Friday, July 3, at 10:00 a.m., at Easton Cemetery. Dona Hudgins will officiate.
