Jack E Davis

Jack E. Davis, 86, of Lewistown passed away at 1:58 p.m. Friday December 25, 2015 at Graham Hospital emergency room in Canton.
He was born February 17, 1929 at West Frankfort, IL the son of Ewell and Hallie (Martin) Davis. He married Vonee Kinnamon on August 17, 1947 at Ipava. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Jack Davis, one daughter, Lynn (Davis) Barrineau, and one granddaughter, Emily Barrineau all of Lewistown, three sisters, Elizabeth Troutt, Genell Davis, and Shirley Davis all of West Frankfort, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Cynthia Davis, and one infant brother.
Jack worked as an electrician. He served in the Illinois National Guard. He was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church. Jack was also a member of the Lewistown Lodge 104 AF&AM where he was past master, the Scottish Rite Valley of Peoria, Mohammed Shrine Temple, and the IBEW. He enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday December 29 at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Pastor Randy Munson officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery at Lewistown. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Fulton County Humane Society or the Lewistown Fire & Rescue Squad.
