The annual Toy Giveaway will be held on Saturday, December 9 from 7:30 a.m. to approximately noon at the First United Methodist Church, located at 101 South Broadway in Havana. Those wishing to obtain toys, books, or clothing for their children are to register at the church beginning on Tuesday, December 5 through Thursday, December 7 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m. in the church basement. At the time of registration, an appointment must be scheduled for Saturday to select items for ages birth through 18 years. No children will be allowed with the family on Saturday. Grandparents who register will have an appointment after 11 a.m. and be allowed one item per grandchild. All persons wishing to donate new or like new toys or gifts may do so by bringing them to the church on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to noon. All donations are greatly appreciated.
