Pets Without Parents to hold Quarter Auction

Bring your quarters and join us for a fun day. Lots of auction items, as well as door prizes will be available.
Lunch will be available for purchase at the auction. Sliders of pulled chicken, pork and a club, pasta salad, fruit pizza, cookies, tea and water for $5. Soda will be available for an additional cost. All net proceeds benefit our animal shelter. Happy Tails!
Currently they have four heartworm positive dogs that need treatment. Treatment for a 50 lb. dog costs approximately $500. PWP can only save these lives through donations, memorials and fundraisers. Oyster Stew and Chili Supper

County Road 3600 E., San JoseSt. Luke Lutheran Church, rural San Jose, will host its annual Chili and Oyster Stew Supper and Bazaar on Monday, December 4, from 4 to 7 p.m. Chili, oyster stew, chicken salad, ham sandwiches, hot dogs, and a wide variety of desserts will be served for a donation. There will also be cards, attic treasures, baked goods, and candy for sale. The church is located at 15757 N. County Road 3600 E., San Jose. Please come and enjoy food and fellowship!

Who knew Santa had a brother?
https://www.democratnewspapers.com/event/who-knew-santa-had-a-brother/The Tot Time program at Dickson Mounds Museum, which starts at at 9:30 a.m., on Thursday, December 7, will be ‘Hugo Kringle.’ Folk musician and storyteller Mike Anderson will portray Hugo Kringle, Santa Claus’s younger brother, and sing holiday songs and tell stories about growing up with the boy who became known as Santa Claus. Tots and their adults may enjoy related crafts to take home.
The program begins promptly at 9:30 a.m., with the program portion lasting approximately 30 minutes, followed by crafts, snacks, and time to explore the Museum. Groups of eight or more should call the Dickson Mounds Museum in advance to ensure the availability of supplies. The 2017 Tot Time program series is sponsored by the City of Lewistown, Doug Dennis of Manito, Havana National Bank, and G-M Mechanical of Canton.
