Susan L. Altig
Susan L. Altig, 64, of Easton, died at 6:45 a.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023, at Sunny Acres Nursing Home. Susie was born on October 15, 1958, in Easton, the daughter of Arnold and Carolyn (Blakeman) Williamson. She married Tony E. Altig. Susie was a 1976 graduate of Easton High School. She worked as a bookkeeper for many years. Susie was an avid reader and loved her cats and dogs. She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael D. Williamson. She is survived by her husband, Tony Altig of Easton; one son, John (wife, Amanda) Balster of Manito; one daughter, Rachael (husband, Seth) Crum of Suffolk, VA; four grandchildren, John, Jacob, Justin and Finley; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Cremation was provided by Lincoln Land Cremation Society. Memorial Contributions can be made to Easton United Methodist Church, 108 E. Main St., Easton, IL 62633.
Susie was a friend, a classmate and my little sister for many years. Always loved her smile and her, “We can do this!” outlook. Prayers to her family and friends.
