Sally Ann Malone
Sally Ann Malone, age 72, of Havana passed over into Heaven to be with the love of her life Michael ‘Mikey’ Malone on January 26 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy. She was born on June 23, 1950 to Charles and Pearl Drew Bright in Kansas City, MO. Sally Ann first married Dean Westfall and to this union five children were born. She later married Michael ‘Mikey’ Malone on May 23, 1998 in Havana, and he passed away on October 4, 2022. Sally grew up and attended Griggsville Schools. Over the years she waitressed at several different restaurants in several different states. Sally Ann always danced to her own tune, but after marrying Michael she became a good housewife and caretaker of their home. She was obsessed with their yard and always kept it in perfect condition. Sally Ann enjoyed reading books and always loved a good cold beer, a Marlboro Light, and country music. Sally Ann is survived by her children; Ben (Dawnyetta Manard) Westfall of Griggsville, Deanna (R.D.) Brown of Bluffs, Annie Westfall, Craig (Annette) Westfall of Valley City; eight grandchildren, Eli, Morgan, Charlene Jean, Gage, Brock, Chandler, Alec, Dalton; five great-grandchildren, Ezra Earl, Eliza June, Colby, Easton, David, Ceagan; two brothers, Bob Sims, John (Carolyn) Sims; three sisters, Sharon Mulvaney, Bonnie (Ken) Blackburn, Robin Sims. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Michael ‘Mikey’ Malone; one son, Charles Shane Westfall; two grandsons, Andrew Dean Westfall, Austin Shaw; one brother-in-law, Jim Mulvaney. There will be no services per Sally Ann’s wishes. Cremation rites have been accorded. Memorials are suggested to be made to the family c/o Niebur Funeral Home.
