He and Leigh Ann retired to Florida in 1992, where Pat continued working as a contractor, specializing in pool and patio covers. Pat took great pride in his work and was well known throughout the area for the quality and craftsmanship of his projects. He hired and mentored many young men in his business over the years, and they often reached out to him to express their appreciation for his impact on their lives.
