Faye Lynn Noll

Faye Lynn Noll, 81, of Havana, passed away at 2:13 p.m., on Saturday, September 18 at The Lodge in Manito. She was born October 17, 1939, in Lamesa, Texas, to J.C. and Ruby Inez (Dyer) Bearden. She married Stanley Noll on December 14, 1957, in Big Spring, Texas. He survives. Mrs. Noll is survived by her husband, Stanley, of Havana; two children: Wayne (Cindy) Noll, and Sherry (Kevin) Gilson, both of Havana; six grandchildren: Andy (Melissa) Gilson, Tony (Steph Webb) Gilson, Amber (Rusty) Sarnes, Ashleigh (Kyle Gustafson) Gilson, Jay (Megan) Noll and Rachel (Travis) Davenport; as well as eleven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are three siblings: Derrell Bearden, Janice Walton and David Bearden. She was preceded in death by her parents. Mrs. Noll is a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and Home Extension. She loved bowling, traveling, fishing and boating. She enjoyed watching and playing basketball. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She had worked as a Secretary for Forman Schools, as well as at Havana National Bank and Mason State Tree Nursery, and retired as a Record Supervisor at the Canton prison. Visitation is scheduled at Hurley Funeral Home, in Havana, on Tuesday, September 21 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. with funeral services at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, in Havana, at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, September 22. Rev. Matthew Berndt will officiate. Burial will follow the services at Presbyterian Cemetery, near Topeka. Memorial contributions may be made to Mason District Hospital, or The Lodge at Manito.
