Susan Kay Carlock Pierson, 56, of Havana passed away at her home at 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, May 15. She was born on March 7, 1965 in Havana to Ernest and Elizabeth (Armbruster) Carlock. Susan is survived by her son, Ryan Mills of Havana, boyfriend, Clinton Danley of Havana, grandchildren, Trent Michael Mills of Iron Mountain, Michigan and Aurora Daydream Marie Mills of Havana, and her dogs Lucas and Buddy. She is also survived by her siblings: David (Sheri) Carlock of Bath, Bev (Larry) Hood of Lewistown, Jessie Carlock of Liverpool, Tim Carlock of Ft. Worth, Texas, and Ernie (Nancy) Carlock of Bath and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Flossie Patrick and Zearl Carlock. Susan worked at Coleman Clinic from 1995 to 1998 and then for Casey’s in Havana for a number of years. A funeral service was held on Friday, May 21 at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana at 11:00 a.m., with a visitation one hour prior to the service from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Hugh Carlock and Tommy Carlock officiated. Burial followed the service at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial donations may be made in Susan’s name to TAPS in Pekin. Online condolences can be left for her family at www.hurleyfh.com.
