Sheila Rose Munsch, 83, of Havana, passed away at Lincoln Christian Village Nursing Home at 2:40 a.m., on Saturday, March 20. She was born March 18, 1938, in Havana, to Hank and Virgina Cohee. She married Larry Ivan Munch Sr. on October 10, 1964, in Havana. Mrs. Munsch is survived by her husband, Larry, of Havana; seven children: Betty Sue (Steve) Capps, Lynnette (Ron) Witt, Valerie (Donnie) Green, Gitana (Brian) Melton, Larry (Kathy) Munsch, Jenny (Matt) Windsor, and Crystal (Jeremiah) Bassett; two sisters: Brenda Cohee and Denise Mayberry; and one brother: Bill Cohee. She was a proud grandmother of twenty-six grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Tommy, Larry and Adrian Cohee; and one sister: Sue Ann Yaeck. Mrs. Munsch was a very active church member. She was a strong woman of God and loved with all of her heart. She had worked as a CNA at Martin Manor in Havana for several years. Visitation was held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, on Tuesday, March 23, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. Funeral services were held at 1:00 p.m., on Wednesday, March 24, also at the funeral home. Rev. Donnie Green officiated. Burial followed the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial contributions may be made to the Munsch family to assist with purchasing a headstone.
