Cindy Denise Graham, 63, of San Jose passed away at 7:55 a.m. on Monday, January 11 at The Christian Village in Lincoln. She was born on July 17, 1957 in Pekin to Marshall “Elmer” and Lois (Emmons) Maxey. She married Gary “Peso” Graham on November 5, 2005. He survives. Cindy is also survived by three daughters: Terra (Jeremy) Coon of Pekin, Trina Picken, and Trisha Picken, both of Delavan. Also surviving are four grandchildren: Luke Hutton, Landon Fischer, Reese Webb, and Calvin Young; 3 nieces, 3 nephews, 3 great nieces, 3 great nephews, and 4 sisters: Kathy (Gary) Bauer of Topeka, Teresa (Phil) Lehnhausen of Jacksonville, Gaye (Chuck) Lauss of Urbana, and Tina (Dennis) McMichael of New Tazewell, TN. She was preceded in death by her parents. Cindy worked at Oney’s Foods in Manito for more than 25 years where she touched the lives of many members of the community. She was wonderful with children and animals, loved summertime, fishing, and all things vanilla. She was also blessed with a beautiful singing voice. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 24 at BridgeWay Community Church, 3216 Veterans Drive, in Pekin from 3:00-5:00 p.m. There will also be a separate celebration of life to be announced at a later date.
