Jenny Lynn Farr

To be known by Jenny Lynn Farr was to be loved wholly and fully for life. Jenny was blessed with the gift of loving people and welcoming them into her home, and we can only imagine her joy as she was welcomed through heaven’s gates on Sunday, September 6 at 12:32 pm. Her father Roger Lee Clanin, and grandparents Edgar Thomas, Evelyn Chaney, Phillip and Clare Clanin, Tommy and Betty Wickert and Jack Farr were there when she entered heaven, fully healed. Jenny leaves behind her husband Jason Farr and the love of her life, daughter Ella Sue Farr of Table Grove. Her mother, Ellen (and Ron) Frazier of Canton, sisters Sherry (Kenton) Heaton of Vermont, and Bev (Dave Edsall) Martindale of Lewistown along with Randy and Sue Farr of Ipava and Donna Farr of Table Grove and nieces Heather Danner, Chelsie Heaton, Ashlee Heaton, Maci Martindale, and Rylee Martindale also grieve her passing. Jenny loved people, but the greatest joy of her life was when she became a mother to Ella Sue. For the past five years, Ella has been the center of Jenny’s world and has known nothing but love. Ella completed a part of Jenny that she had waited most of her life for, and Jenny did not take a second for granted, always choosing barbies and books with Ella, over anything else. Jenny’s overwhelming love for Ella was evident to anyone that saw them together, and only God could have orchestrated the way Ella was brought into Jason and Jenny’s lives, making their family complete. While Jenny’s story is not one that any of us would have written, we know that her story is not over. Jenny’s story continues in all those loved by her and especially through Ella. Even as we ache for her smile and contagious laughter, we know through Jenny’s unwavering faith that we can await our joyous reunion with her in heaven. A visitation for Jenny will be held on Saturday, September 12 from 2-4 p.m. at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. All CDC and IDPH guidelines will be followed. A private family service will be held later. If you would like to honor Jenny’s life and legacy of loving people, please give memorials to the Holy Pursuit Dream Foundation. Memorials my be sent to the funeral home at PO Box 525, Astoria, IL 61501.
