LaNora Boeker
LaNora Boeker, 95, of Oakford, died at Sunny Acres Nursing Home, August 18 at 5:50 p.m. She was born in Bath Township, January 27, 1925 where she was raised by her father, Newton Lippert and Grandmother Lippert. LaNora graduated from Bath-Lynchburg High school, the Class of 1943. For 71 years, she was married to Edison Boeker on December 16, 1944, who died April 15, 2016. She is survived by her sister Leona Bullard, of Fairfield, niece Kalene Winslett, Denison, Texas and brother, Donald Lippert of Morton. Her brother, Charles “Butch” Lippert also preceded her in death. A member of Sandridge New Hope Baptist Church since 1945, she loved her church; was a Sunday School and Vacation Bible School teacher, faithfully serving many duties. She researched and accumulated Lippert genealogy, creating many albums including photos of the annual Lippert family reunions. LaNora greatly enjoyed and helped with the Bath-Lynchburgh Classmates Reunions. A talented tailor and seamstress, LaNora handcrafted many beautiful items, gifting friends with quilts, purses, wall hangings and a great variety of items. A private graveside service will be held for LaNora and will be officiated by Rev. Delbert Penrod at the Oakford Cemetery. Memorial donations may be mailed to her church at P. O.
