David D. Steele

David D. Steele, 46, formerly of Havana, passed away from natural causes on April 27 at Winning Wheels Assisted Living Center in Prophetstown. David was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on June 22, 1973 to Fred and Linda Steele. Both parents have preceded him in death. David is survived by two brothers, Tony Steele of Peoria and Michael Steele of Antioch, TN. He is also survived by two sisters, Shirley (Don) Kidder of Havana, and Sandra Lady of Bloomington, IN. One sister, Debra Kramer of Springfield, MO. preceded him in death. David had six nieces and nephews and 26 great nieces and nephews. David was a loving and caring person who never let his disabilities get in his way. He truly loved Jesus and was a member of the Havana Church of Christ. He knew no stranger and loved to be an encourager to others. David loved to play video games and had a wonderful sense of humor. Memorials may be made to the Havana Church of Christ, 350 S. Broadway, Havana, IL 62644. Cremation rites were afforded by the McDonald Funeral Home in Prophetstown. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

    I met David few years ago a camp and he was an amazing person and will be missed more then ever. whenever he saw me he would say hello Darling. David you will be missed camp will not be the same without you Rest easy my friend
