Kenneth R. Specketer
Kenneth R. Specketer, 86, of Havana passed away on June 12, 2019 at 4:26 p.m. at Mason District Hospital in Havana. He was born February 21, 1933, in Havana, to Harry August and Elnora Beatrice (Schilling) Specketer. He married Joyce Register in Havana on June 6, 1952. Mr. Specketer is survived by his wife, Joyce, sons, Leland Specketer and Kyle (Karen) Specketer, two granddaughters, Andrea and Clare Specketer all of Havana, and sister, Janet Brown of Oakford. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Glen, Lloyd, Don, and Clyde Specketer. Mr. Specketer was a member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana. He served in the Army from 1951-1953. He was a lifelong farmer, retiring in 2002. Kenneth was an avid hunter and a longtime member of Ducks Unlimited. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 29 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Havana. Rev. Kevin Wendorf will officiate. The Specketer family invites everyone to join them for a luncheon at the TownHouse in Havana, following the services.
