Eileen R. Keithley

Eileen R. Keithley, 98, of Bath, passed away at Passavant Area Hospital in Jacksonville, at 9:27 p.m. on Saturday, December 8, 2018. She was born July 11, 1920 in Mason County, Illinois, to James H. and Ethel (Boehm) McCausland. She married Everett K. “Hunk” Keithley on April 27, 1941 in New London, MO. He preceded her in death on December 15, 1994. Mrs. Keithley is survived by three daughters: JoAnne Jackson of Sherman, Joyce Keithley of Chicago, Jeanne (Ken) Keithley-Gouviea of Bath; son, Ken (Colleen) Keithley of Jacksonville; six grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers: Vernon McCausland of Havana and Gerald McCausland of Canton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother: Carl McCausland and one sister: Floreine McCausland Harris. Mrs. Keithley enjoyed gardening and raising flowers, quilting, traveling, compiling genealogy and especially spending time with her family. Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana from 10 until 11 a.m. on Wednesday, December 12. Graveside services will be held at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana at 11 a.m. Justin King will officiate.
