Letitia Blair, 96, of Beardstown, formerly of Chandlerville, passed away at 6:40 a.m. on Sunday, June 24, 2018. She was born January 12, 1922 in Chandlerville to Russell and Eunice (Lintner) Lynn. She married Ernest “Buster” Blair on July 22, 1939 in Bowling Green, MO. He preceded her in death on July 19, 2007. Mrs. Blair is survived by one son: Lynn (Kay) Blair, of Waupaca, WI; four grandchildren: Ross (Andrea) Staffhorst, of Raleigh, NC, Aubrey Fish of Madison, WI, Brett (Ellen) Fish of Cross Plains, WI, and Scott Fish of Grand Chute, WI; as well as five great-grandchildren: Zack Staffhorst of Raleigh, NC, Brandon May of Lakewood, CO, Allison Fish and Scotty Fish of Cross Plains, WI and Dawson Fish of Grand Chute, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter: Linda Sue Shoemaker, three sisters: Marguerite Sarff, Shirley Taylor and Elizabeth Bruno, one brother: James Lynn and one great-granddaughter: Elena Fish. Mrs. Blair was a member of the 1st Congregational Church of Beardstown. She worked as a teller at 1st National Bank in Beardstown for 25 years. She was a Charter Member of Emblem Club of the Elks Club in Beardstown. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, playing cards and needle point. A memorial service will be held at Lintner-Hurley Funeral Home on Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 11 a.m., with visitation one hour prior to the services. Burial will follow the services at Chandlerville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society in Linda Shoemaker’s name or to Chandlerville Cemetery.
