Cheri Lynn Julius

Cheri Lynn Julius, 46, of Manito, passed away at Richard Owens Hospice Home, in Peoria, at 11:04 a.m. on Sunday, July 1, 2018. She was born April 11, 1972, in Pittsfield, to John and Bobbi (Thompson) Harris. She married William “Bill” Julius on August 24, 2002 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Pekin. Mrs. Julius is survived by her husband, Bill, of Manito; father, John (Tammy) Harris of Griggsville; mother, Bobbi Harris of Manito; three children: Zachary Harris, Aymee Julius and Kayla Julius, all of Manito; sister, Cathy (Hanford) Tanner of Chatham and brother, John “Jay” (Alicia) Harris Jr. of Scott Air Force Base. She was preceded in death by her grandparents. Mrs. Julius is a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Manito. She enjoyed reading and attending sporting events to watch her children. She was an avid St. Louis Blues and St. Louis Cardinals fan. She had worked at KM Plant Services, as a secretary, for over twelve years. Funeral services will be held at Maas-Hurley Funeral Home in Manito at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 5 with visitation one hour prior to the services. Fr. David Whiteside will officiate. Burial will follow the services at St. Frederick’s Catholic Cemetery in Manito. Memorial contributions may be made to an education fund for Cheri’s daughters, through the Manito Community Bank.
