Marcella Marie Mendenhall

Marcella Marie Mendenhall, 54, of Havana, found peace after a two-year battle with cancer. She passed away at 4:47 a.m. on Friday, June 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on October 16, 1963 in Havana to Charles and Judith (Wendt) Elmore. She spent most of her life married to Randy Mendenhall. He survives. Surviving are her parents, Charles and Judith; and her five children, Chavon Lillie (her children: Kain, Kortney, Kinley, Hadley, and Brennan), Nicholas Lillie (his children: Destiny, Zander, and Cheyanne), Lucas (Ollie) Mendenhall (their child: Jeremy), Stacy (Patrick) Stubbs (their children: Matthew, Riley, Dalton, and Hannah), and James (Kelly) Mendenhall (their children: Isabelle and Hayden); two brothers, Douglas (Tiffany) Elmore and Steven (Haly) Elmore; two sisters, Michelle Elmore and Melinda (Brian) Reeps. Marcella was a homemaker, bartender, bus driver, and one badass momma. A graveside service will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, June 8, 2018 at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. A celebration of life will follow at Lucas and Ollie’s house (BYOB), 18749 E. Manito Road, Havana, IL. Memorial Contributions can be made to the Family and/or Illinois Cancer Care.
