John Eddy Fletcher

John Eddy Fletcher, 76, of Havana passed away on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at 2:12 p.m. at Unity Point Proctor in Peoria. He was born on February 14, 1942 in Peoria to John K. and Lucille (Moslander) Fletcher. John is survived by his children LaDonna Burgett of Havana, Dina Roberts of Jacksonville, Bryan Fletcher of Los Angeles, CA, and Diane England of Winchester. Also surviving is his sister Kay (Arlen) Blodgett. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Jimmy “Dale” Fletcher, and nephew Chris Fletcher. John worked as the supervisor for the Mason County EMS for many years. He also served as Deputy Coroner for Mason County. He was a member and caretaker of the Central Gun Club and a member of Ducks Unlimited. John loved to duck and goose hunt. A visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana. A graveside service will follow immediately after at 10 a.m. at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Memorial donations may be left in John’s name to Ducks Unlimited or Pets Without Parents.
