Olin Stanley Cox, 70, of Mason City, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Hopedale Nursing Home. He was born December 5, 1947 to Stanley and Belle (Woodruff) Cox in Rockford. He married Arlene Hintz at St. Paul’s Lutheran in Manito on August 2, 1970. Olin is survived by: his wife Arlene; children Tammy (Ben) Josefik of Dwight, and Andy (Alisha) Cox of Mason City; grandchildren Luke Josefik, Michael Josefik, Elizabeth Josefik, Sophia Cox and Harper Cox; his siblings Winston (Deborah) Cox, Ami Yagel, Beverly Mitchell, Carolyn (Bill) Brown, Dora Stalkfleet, and Emily (Tim) Austin. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Billy Cox. Olin was a life-long farmer and attended the Easton United Methodist Church. He was a volunteer for Easton Fire Department and President of Farmers Elevator Co Of Biggs And Easton Inc. He enjoyed the Chicago Cubs and farming. Services for Olin will be held on Monday, March 5, 2018 at 10 a.m. at Easton United Methodist Church in Easton. Reverend Al Sample will officiate. Burial will follow at the Easton Cemetery. Visitation will take place Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m., at Hurley Funeral Home in Mason City.
