Vauna C. Morris

Vauna C. Morris, 88, of El Paso, passed away at 9:40 a.m. on Tuesday February 13, 2018 at Heritage Health in El Paso. She was born on May 19, 1929 in Normal, a daughter of Fred and Nina May Bailey Morris. Survivors include one sister, Beverly Houston of Heyworth; two sisters-in-law, Millie Morris of Florida; Lillian Morris of Providence, RI; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant sister, three brothers, one brother-in-law and one sister-in-law. Vauna was a clerk at State Farm in Bloomington for 40 years. She was a member of the CLIO-Rebekah Lodge #143 in Havana, and she was an avid fisherman who loved to sew and travel. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Hudson Cemetery. Rev. Krista Price will officiate. Ruestman-Harris Funeral Home in El Paso is handling arrangements for the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
