Wesley Gene “Pete” Jones

Wesley Gene “Pete” Jones, 59, of Havana passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018 at 1:09 a.m. at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield. He was born on March 7, 1958 in Canton to Lawrence and Peggy (Avery) Jones. He married Julie Felles on August 27, 1977 in Havana. Wesley is survived by his wife, parents, four children Peggy (Erik) Speer, Misty (Aaron) Grow, William Speer, and Maddie Speer, and three grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing the video game Zelda. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana, with a visitation held at the funeral home one hour prior to services.
