Phyllis Jean Graham
Phyllis Jean (Bohm) Graham, 76, of Havana passed away Saturday, August 26, 2017 at Symphony of Lincoln. She was born on September 2, 1940 in Havana to Orville and Dorothy (Blakely) Bohm. On May 15, 1960 in Havana she married Robert William Graham who preceded her in death on October 20, 1987. Phyllis had 3 daughters: Carol (Mark) Buchanan of Easton, Dorothy Graham of Towanda, Deborah (Dennis) Cooley of Lincoln, 3 sons: William Graham of Canton, Orville LeRoy (Teresa) Graham of Lewistown, James (Kenda) Graham of Havana, 3 sisters: Elnora (Cecil) Gilson of Havana, Marjorie Friedrich of Havana, Janet Lafary of Smithshire, and brother Richard Bohm of Lincoln. She had 16 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren with one on the way. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Robert E. Bohm. Phyllis baby sat a lot over the years, worked at Carp’s Department Store, Middle State telephone company, Lewistown Clarytona Nursing Home, Martin Nursing Home, Havana Health Care, Rainbow Laundry from 1973-1997, and sat with seniors. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, September 1, 2017 at 1 p.m. at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Pastor Bill Boyce officiating, burial to follow at Laurel Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 5 to 7 p.m. also at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the Havana Church of Christ.
