Sally Ann Jackson

Sally Ann Jackson, 79, of Havana, passed away at OSF-St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria at 1:15 p.m. on Monday, February 29, 2016. She was born September 10, 1936 in Havana, to Otis O. and Orlana (Williams) Smith. She married Theodore “Ted” Jackson on September 30, 1956 in Bath, Illinois.
Sally is survived by her husband, Ted, of Havana, three daughters, Cindy Jackson Soria of Indio, California, Candy (Paul) Gann, of Havana, Cathy Jackson of Indio, California, four grandchildren, Nicolas Bruns of Wildomar, California, John Gann of San Diego, California, Camryn Gann and Andrea Gann, both of Havana, as well as one great-granddaughter, Alexis Gaines of Havana. Also surviving are one brother, Jack D. Smith of Peoria and sister, Alta (Jess) Hackett of East Peoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Dawnie List, Roy Richard Smith, Lois Giebelhausen and one son, Scott D. Jackson.
Sally attended Central Christian Church in Havana. She was a member of VFW Post #6408 Ladies Auxiliary and the Central Christian Church –Christian Women’s Fellowship.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana on Friday, March 4, 2016 from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at 1 p.m., also at the funeral home. Burial will follow the services at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Rev. Emily Williams will officiate.
